Additional information

<04> Presents a novel delay-constrained transmission technique for maximizing the throughput of cognitive radio networks that carry out delay-sensitive applications, e.g., video gaming. The proposed technique provides a novel, and at the same time simple, cross-layer solution for the optimum power allocation strategy in underlay cognitive radio networks. Further contributes the closed-form expressions, which reduce the computational time and complexity, for the proposed power allocation technique. The paper is published in the prestigious IEEE journal TWC (IF 2.586), and it has received a significant and growing number of citations since its publication in 2010.
