<22> Cheap RFID tags struggle to achieve both accuracy and precision in object localisation tasks. This paper is the first to report a computational model for tag distribution and localisation precision and accuracy, for the difficult task of achieving efficiently these two criteria, using a few cheap tags. The model is useful for various applications, such as within visual special effects tools that require positional parameters of the camera. For example, the film, video and TV post-production industry has a big need for such special effects and is estimated to have a revenue around £1bn in the UK alone.
