Additional information

This paper, the second in a series of three, considers the challenges facing the refurbishment of hospital buildings and presents the contextual basis for the development of a sustainable refurbishment model for hospitals. It builds on a key NHS-Estates commission to develop an integrated system for the optimal selection of hospital finishes in collaboration with several NHS trusts and Skanska UK.
