This edited collection was curated by Ian Biddle and Kirsten Gibson, both being submitted under UoA 35 (Music) for Newcastle.

Each editor has a single-authored chapter in the volume: Biddle, ‘Caught in the Silken Throat: Modernist Investments in the Male Vocal Fetish’; Gibson, ‘Melancholy and Masculinity in Early Modern England’.

The book also contains a co-authored Introduction (50% each editor) and three short section introductions (50% each editor). The curatorial work was also equally divided between the two editors.
