Additional information

BTExact commissioned radio channel measurements essential to the provision of wireless broadband in rural environments. The new knowledge on time delay spread results will be incorporated into the revision of ITU-R 1411. Presenting the document to the ITU meeting 2012 led to the appointment of Professor Salous as the Rapporteur of a correspondence Group to Working Party 3K on ITU-R 1411. Under an Aegis contract our custom designed and built multi-band transmitter described in the paper was used to generate data added to the database of the ITU. Contact for Ofcom measurements and ITU data-base is Richard Rudd, Aegis Ltd.
