<16>The world’s first published work using Dempster-Shafer theory of evidence to combine multiple matchers for matching query interfaces to web databases. The work was first presented at a VLDB 2008 International Workshop on New Trends in Information Integration (NTII 2008). The paper along with three other papers was subsequently selected for extension and further peer review for inclusion in the journal. It was then one of the final two extended papers accepted for publication. It was commended by Dr Bernstein, Distinguished Scientist at Microsoft Research, who have referenced this paper in their follow-on work on the topic.
