Additional information

The project developed a novel combination of usability and agile development methods to create a production management system. To ensure rigour an action research approach was devised for this project from prior IS methodology. The quality of the work is evidenced by publication in a double-blind refereed international information management journal with a published acceptance rate of 40%. The significance is primarily commercial with a four-fold increase the organisation’s product line capacity and the underpinning software being spun out with QFI for healthcare management. This inter-disciplinary case study emanates from a KTP project (KTP000485).
