This research was performed by the Helmholtz Centre Berlin and the Centre for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research (ZSW) as part of the as part of the X-ray- and Neutron-based Test Methods for PEM Fuel Cells (RuNPEM) project. This is project is a collaboration between German centres of excellence in energy research, wherein project partners receive extensive access to both neutron and x-ray facilities at HZB to study and optimise solar cells, hydrogen fuel cells and other energy-related materials.
