Additional information

Elucidated the response of olfactory ensheathing cells to morphology of nanofibre scaffolds. Led to new collaboration with Thomas Swan & Co Ltd. and Surrey University to research high performance aligned carbon nanotube aligned nanofibre nanocomposites with a funded Industrial EngD studentship (S. King). Further development at Nottingham Trent University of a pilot scale system (1m x 0.7m sheets, aligned and non-woven nanofibre sheets) with European Regional Development Funding for associated infrastructure (under negotiation, £358k).
