Additional information

Based on this work I provided a response to The Law Commission’s Consultation Paper, Unfitness to Plead (Law Commission Consultation Paper No 197, 2010). The Law Commission's analysis of the responses can be found at http://lawcommission.justice.gov.uk/areas/unfitness-to-plead.htm. Also, I was invited to attend a workshop on 11th March 2013 led by the Home Office’s Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour Reduction Unit focussing on the implications of the Anti-Social Behaviour Bill for under-18s. The workshop was attended by a small group of experts and professionals with expertise in effective responses to youth antisocial behaviour.
