Additional information

This co-authored catalogue essay (McKay and Strachan) was commissioned by The Wordsworth Trust as an exploration of the different ways in which artists have responded to the poetic works of William Wordsworth and the manuscripts held in the Trust’s collection by William and Dorothy Wordsworth.

The essay was developed through a series of interviews with the artists and contextual research. The catalogue accompanied an exhibition (of the same name) at Dove Cottage, Wordsworth Trust (2 February – 10 March 2013), which brought together contemporary artists and poets whose work mirrors Wordsworth’s walking informed poetry.

The catalogue is published by Art Editions North and The Wordsworth Trust, 2013 and distributed by Cornerhouse Publications.
