Additional information
This output was reviewed by the editors and members of the advisory board of 'Intensities: The Journal of Cult Media'. It develops research first presented at an invited presentation given at Carleton University in Ottawa, as well as two other international conference papers. The Ottawa presentation was funded by Carleton’s Hyperlab, who provided travel and accommodation costs. The output considers how architecture is visualised within science fiction, develops ideas of sensation and temporality in acts of reading comic books, and offers a detailed theorising of the fictional urban environment of 'Mega City One'.
