The paper proposes a novel control structure that can improve the performance of control loops in the chemical engineering sector with minimal computation. Soon after publication Heath was invited to present this material in a keynote talk at the Automation and Control for Energy (ACE) conference, London, in March 2012: http://www.ibcenergy.com/event/ACE. Heath has been asked to write a book by Wiley expanding on this material (contact details available, editor.wiley@gmail.com). Heath's group is developing a hardware demonstrator of the technology with support from Siemens, DirectLOGIC, Allen Bradley and AdeptScience (contact details available).
