Adolescent-to-parent abuse: Current Understandings in Research, Policy and Practice (190pp) is a unique monograph that undertakes a detailed empirical and theoretical analysis of adolescent-to-parent abuse and violence. The book is pioneering in its bringing together of international research and practice literature and combining of this with original research to critique understandings of and responses to this complex issue. Its wide theoretical lens draws on psychological, sociological and sociocultural perspectives, engaging with experts on domestic violence, child protection and youth justice. It aims to identify how we might re-conceptualise adolescent-to-parent abuse and suggests future directions in research, policy and practice.
