Additional information

<30> The paper presents a new optimisation model for batch process scheduling problems with complex constraints and has investigated the performance of different optimisation techniques implementing this model, which were the outputs of a research project for one year. The approach proposed in the paper has contributed two publications in international Journal and conferences. The paper reported the initial work that has been done and identified many areas for further research. It also contributed many topics of a special issue of an international Journal, for which I am the Guest Editor-in-chief. The Journal special issue will be published in 2014.
