<22> This paper presents a novel technique to build collaboration between individual-solution-based metaheuristics and population-based metaheuristics in solving combinatorial optimisation problems. We propose agentifying the individuals in populations with which local search algorithms can be embedded in each individual to make it more proactive in this process as well as to let the population behave as community of artificial-beings. This research has been done in collaboration with GreenGrid research team in Applied University of Western Switzerland, has led us to conceptualise the approach and implement with various other techniques, which have been presented and discussed in various conferences.
