<27> The paper presents a novel technique for secure transmission though Optical Fibre at Gigabit rates. The novelty of scheme is that it implements irreducible security at macroscopic power level. This work has been presented at many European and International conferences. The conference presentation and paper publication caused some interest (and lab visits) from US defence. This work has also resulted in the award of a Phd.
