Probing the Thermal Deoxygenation of Graphene Oxide Using High-Resolution In Situ X-ray-Based Spectroscopies
This is the first comprehensive study of probing the thermal reduction of graphene oxide by x-ray based spectroscopic techniques conducted through use of CCLRC facilities. The paper has been used to establish a leading position on the use of synchrotron based techniques for characterising carbon based nanomaterials. It has led to invited talks in Bessy II - Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (Germany) 2011 annual users meeting and Diamond (UK) I09 workshop in 2012. It also led to the award of a senior fellowship from the RAE/Levehulme Trust (10226/41) and membership on Bessy’s (C3a College member) proposal evaluation panel for P. Papakonstantinou.
