<20> Human and societal aspects of security and privacy: Privacy protections. This is one of three journal papers arising from research funded by EPSRC / UK Office for National Statistics (ONS) developing new models and algorithms for protecting the privacy of individual respondents when publishing aggregated statistical data. Software implementing these methods is now in use at ONS (contact Pete Brodie, Head of Business Statistics Methods, ONS: pete.brodie@ons.gsi.gov.uk) , and parts have been incorporated into the internationally used tool Tau-Argus maintained by the Central Bureau for Statistics, Netherlands.
