“This paper was nominated for Best Paper award at the international DRUID conference in 2012, 1 of 5 out of several hundred papers presented. The Sussex REF submitting author is the second author of the paper and contributed with Rafols (lead author) to the project design, data interpretation and drafting of the text. This is was a substantial role, but the paper authorship also recognizes the contributions of several other authors who undertook the data gathering and analysis work.
