Sound opera for large ensemble, mixed chorus and 4-channel digital sound, commissioned by The Forge and Durham Cathedral for Durham International Brass Festival. Inspired by Italo Calvino’s Cosmicomics story of the same name, the work is in nine ‘scenes’, of which three comprise settings of Newton’s three Laws of Motion.
