Additional information

<20> By combining recent work from colour psychology, accessibility, and human-computer interaction, this paper represents one of the most significant recent advances in adapting the digital world to the needs of the user, as evidenced by its CHI 2013 Best Paper Award (top 1% of submissions). Funded by a three-year $105k Canadian NSERC grant, this paper was a direct output from a one-month collaborative visit to Harvard University. We have now extended this international collaboration to include the Universities of Michigan and Dundee, and are planning a joint submission to the first phase of Horizon 2020.
