• Ground breaking research comparing and contrasting the use of different robot sensors in mobile robot teleguide within a new approach exploiting Stereoscopic-3D visualization (S3D).

• Extended previous work by the author, with new and extensive evaluation that included a laser sensor for the first time, and its comparison with video.

• Later IEEE publications based on this achievement, where the two proposed sensor modalities are combined under S3D. Later FP7 2013 proposals based on this achievement (ICT 10-2.2 “NEROGAVO”), and Erasmus-IP project “ITSmart”).

• The paper is collaboration between 2 universities in different European countries.
