Together with B. Webber, I initiated this project in 2000 and have led it ever since. I led the physics design of several modules and was involved in all. I supervised M. Bahr, the PhD student who was the primary author of the underlying event module (one of the main five modules). P. Richardson and I were the primary authors of the paper itself.
