DISENTANGLING BARYONS AND DARK MATTER IN THE SPIRAL GRAVITATIONAL LENS B1933+503
Manchester involvement: M. Norbury, N. Jackson. The paper concerns modelling of a gravitational lens system based on, with three new observations (radio interferometry, optical imaging, optical spectroscopy). We were completely responsible for the first of these observations (including proposal writing, data collection, data reduction and analysis). We wrote the parts of the paper concerning the methods and analysis of the radio data, and provided the data on component positions which are tabulated in the paper and used as inputs to the modelling process. My role included also the supervision of M. Norbury, who was my PhD student at the time.
