This paper reports the first accelerator long baseline search for electron antineutrino appearance in a muon neutrino beam. I pioneered antineutrino physics in MINOS, leading the detailed understanding of this antineutrino beam data as it was collected, and developing a number of selection and analysis tools necessary for the analysis of this data. I furthermore chaired the collaboration’s editorial board for this paper.
