The Myth of the Generation of the Thirties: Modernity, Greekness and Cultural Ideology ( in Greek)

The 588-page monograph is based on extensive research in libraries and private archives as most of the material is not available in digitised form and covers a period of almost 100 years. The most important findings of this research (some previously unpublished) are printed in full as an Appendix at the end of the book. This material is interpreted from a new perspective involving cultural theory, literary criticism, intellectual and art history. The combination of a considerable body of data and its bold, cross-disciplinary analysis constitutes the original contribution of this study.
