Additional information

In a radio environment where high data-rates are required, such as multimedia streaming to mobiles, an analytical model assists in the selection of the appropriate configuration to maximise throughput with the minimum resource. This was the first paper to present an extension of the statistical analysis of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) wireless systems for the practical case of Ricean fading. This has led to an on-going collaboration with Durham (Sana.Salous@durham.ac.uk) DoI:10.1002/wcm.864 and Manchester (E.Alsusa@manchester.ac.uk). This paper has been further extended by Finnish researchers (Wei, ISBN:978-1-61284-233-2).
