Additional information

<02>A fundamentally new approach enhancing the detection of nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR) signals within explosives, narcotics and pharmaceuticals exploiting novel NQR echo models. The work represents the foundation for advanced research integrating intelligent processing and classification methods with radio frequency spectroscopy techniques and has received competitive funding from numerous agencies including Wellcome Trust (Maquette), EU (CONPHIRMER), Home Office (CONTEST Project) and dstl. The NQR techniques and associated signal processing methods have been adopted by industry, including Stelar, Italy (Ferrante, Gianni) and Bagtronics, UK (Rayner, Tim).
