Additional information

This paper has taken a unique approach in examining a controversial topic of Manufacturer-retailer collaboration. It developed a conceptual framework to examine this topic using literature from various research streams. The findings are being promoted and exploited at National and International levels. Nationally, the Chairman of the Greek Food Manufacturing Association publicly referred to this study as an example how collaboration can reduce supply chain risks, costs, and waste. Internationally, it was nominated as best paper at the 6th Conference on Chain and Network Management, The Netherlands. The paper is being increasingly cited in a field that is of growing importance.
