This lengthy book is the product of 4 years full time research. All parts of it (except Part IV) were co-authored equally. I was the sole author of Part IV (the published version of my doctoral thesis). My thesis was written concurrently with the other parts of the book. The years spent focussing primarily on this book impacted on my ability to produce different types of outputs such as long, scholarly articles for peer reviewed journals, although I did manage to co-author the two shorter texts submitted..
