From normativity to responsibility

This book was in preparation for some 10 years, and during this time various articles based on parts of the material prepared for the book, as it was at the time, were published, including: articles in Ratio (2003) and the Journal for Ethics and Social Philosophy (2005), an edited collection by Bauman and Betzler (2004) and the Royal Institute of Philosophy Lectures (2003). None of the pre-2008 publications are simply incorporated in the book; they and the material from which they derive have been revised as Raz’s ideas developed and changed. In all cases the book supersedes these pieces.
