Lennard initiated the idea for the research project and article. Lennard was the lead author – responsible for the largest component of research which was the textile conservation work and the account of the conservation of the flag itself. This contribution is weighted at 40%, with the other three co-authors contributing 20% each to the research, writing, editing etc.
