Additional information

This paper reports on an original study of Detonation Nano-Diamond (DND) that challenges some of the current theoretical models describing the structure of this material. DND is considered a new Carbon allotrope and it has attracted considerable attention; however its value may have been under-estimated. This paper demonstrates that DND can be used to manufacture electronic devices that are both extraordinarily efficient and cheap to manufacture, therefore having the potential to bring considerable improvements in electronic and biomedical industry. Research on this type of materials is still ongoing at the Diamond Electronics laboratories and it has attracted industrial attention.
