Additional information

<29> The significance of this paper lies in the rigorous examination of the gaming literature as part of research study for the Wellcome Trust to re-examine their public engagement policy. This paper provides one of the largest and most systematic studies of the computer games and serious games literature that we are aware of, and examined over 7,392 papers to investigate positive impacts of gaming on users aged 14+. The paper has been on the top 5 list of downloaded papers for Elsevier for several months and its significance can also be seen in the rapid uptake in citations.
