Additional information
An output from research project funded by EPSRC/Airbus. A new optimization method was proposed and applied to a composite stiffened panel for maximum buckling capability. The optimization was subject to practical design rules employed in the aircraft A400M, based on real experience working within Airbus. The research has been evaluated by Airbus and will feed in to further development of the wing design optimization method.
