Additional information

The paper is generated from foundation research of a novel indirect evaporation cooling technology. Within this research, various indirect cooling media membrane materials are studied. Fibre members are identified as the most efficient and economic materials for the novel dew point cooling technology. Based on these findings, four more research grants were awarded to Prof. Xudong Zhao from EU FP7 Programme (€180,000), Keda Ltd (£45,000). The findings from this research have been widely cited and applied in practical indirect cooling products and the dew point cooling unit has been developed into a commercial product (Director: Yijun Yuan; iisaw@163.com; Web: http://www.i-isaw.com/mian_E.php).
