This research was funded by the EU (“ENZUP” project, FP6 SME, 32877). This novel technology was transferred into industrial practice following successful evaluation, including application to wool duvets by HebroTex BV, the Netherlands, (formerly Ovis Texla, contact: Managing Director at HebroTex BV). The successful outcomes contributed to a keynote lecture invitation (12th International Wool Research Conference) as well as invitations to write the two book chapters (“Advances in Wool Technology”, Woodhead Publishing, 2009 and “Advances in Textile Biotechnology’’, Woodhead Publishing, 2010).
