Additional information

Approximate Bayesian Computation (ABC) is a new rapidly advancing area of research in Computational Statistics. This work laid the foundation for a detailed study of the theoretical properties of these methods. The importance of these new theoretical results was recognised by a leading figure in Statistics, Prof Christian Robert, who recommends it as one of a handful of papers selected for his ABC course reading material: http://xianblog.wordpress.com/2012/02/03/reading-list-for-abc-phd-course/

Singh has been invited to present the work at Lancaster, UCL Gatsby, Bristol Intractability workshop and Oxford universities, all in 2012.
