Additional information

First room temperature THz detector based on graphene. This area of research is now present in all major graphene and photonic conferences (see e.g. the Graphene Flagship, SPIE). Plenary, keynote and invited talks have resulted in major conferences (e.g. Keynote in NDNC13, Singapore, Plenary FisMat13, Milan, Invited SPIE2013, San Diego). Workpackage on photonics and optoelectronics, led by Cambridge, is part of the EUR1Bn graphene flagship funded with ~EUR2M per year (1/4 for THz work, RG70444). Further funding secured through EPSRC RG68351, GBP6.8M (1/4 for THz) and ERC Synergy (EUR5.3M, 1/4 for THz, RG66503).
