<22>This invited paper proposed challenging scientific issues on semantics and a framework of interactive semantics including distinguished functions like semantic lens for the first time. It opens a new research direction on semantics, which is the foundation of IT. It has been introduced by peers in different areas, e.g., Neuroscientist (2012), AI journal (2011) and International Journal of Intelligent Systems (2012). It was introduced in many ACM Distinguished Lectures. It was adopted by peers for online advertising (CIKM2010). A special issue on this model was published in FGCS (2010). (Tim Berners-Lee was invited to contribute to the same issue.)
