Additional information

<17>While meta approaches (combining outputs from several systems) to keyword information search have been extensively studied, this was the first and only work to look at how question answering systems can be combined as well, demonstrating empirical benefits of that (the combination is better than each of the systems acting separately). The technical framework suggested here (combining evidence with linear weights) was later applied for Supply Chain (W & W, 2009) and Business Intelligence software applications (Yu & Ji).
