Evidence for frequency-dependent extracellular impedance from the transfer function between extracellular and intracellular potentials: intracellular-LFP transfer function.
<24> Work based on the partnership with biologists, physicists and mathematicians at CNRS (Paris, France). In the paper, we established novel important links between macroscopic and microscopic brain electrical activity. The results have attracted the attention of various neuroscience groups and electrophysiologists. Following this publication, new collaboration was established with Lorin Milescu, a leading electrophysiologist at University of Missouri, USA (Royal Society International Travel grant application), and with the CITIC Laboratory at University of Granada, Spain, via a collaboration with Eduardo Ros (with funding from a “GENIL” grant of €12K).
