Professional Practice for Podiatric Medicine

Developed and edited in conjunction with experts in sociological perspectives in health and their application to practice, this book received exceptionally positive reviews from the profession and gained the editor a Founding Fellowship in Podiatric Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow. They recognised the author’s outstanding contribution to podiatric research, education and practice, via a unique perspective on the historical background of podiatry and its impact on professional practice, both as editor and author of Chapter 6 which emphasises the differentiation of attitude from behaviour in assessing fitness for practice in the allied health professions.
