Additional information

A new method for catalyst deposition on the inner walls of capillary microreactors is proposed which allows exact control of the coating thickness, pore size of the support, metal particle size, and metal loading. This paper was highlighted by the journal editors and the graphical abstract has been published on the issue cover page. An invitation has been received to present a key-note lecture ‘Sol-gel synthesis of mesoporous thin films for application in microstructured reactors” at the 1st Int. workshop on advanced nanostructured materials and thin films for industrial applications, Nottingham, U.K., 10-13 November, 2008.
