Die Pluralektik der Romantik
This carefully composed monograph offers an integrated analysis of Romantic aesthetics with particular emphasis on poetics and the interconnection between discourses on music and literature. The most important chapters originated in a series of hitherto unpublished guest lectures given in Mainz in 2007 at the Johannes Gutenberg University. All previously published chapters have undergone substantial revision and expansion. P. 280-1 details their prior publication dates (post-2007 publications are highlighted). The panel may choose to disregard outputs first published prior to 2008, although I nevertheless submit the whole book so that its integral originality and significance can be assessed.
