Additional information

This collaborative work with Cranfield University, funded by the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia (MoHE), reports for the first time, the use of spectroscopic ellipsometry for the detection of bA-16 and APP770 in sub-ppb level in the presence, at a high background level, of other proteins. These molecules are key markers in the early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease and this approach therefore has significant potential to be used as a fast and simple immunoassay for these bio-markers.
