A detailed study into flow enhanced crystallisation of polypropylene and propylene/ethylene copolymers using novel injection moulding apparatus developed at CalTech to provide extreme shear rates in conjunction with time resolved measurements under a synchrotron x-ray source. A collaboration between Eindhoven, ESRF and Bradford – the author was instrumental in performing all measurements, developing control software and experimental protocols for this complex study
