Additional information

Leading from this work, Dr Tayler (the PhD student on the project) has been employed by Schlumberger Gould Research from October 2013 to work on implementing low field measurements of multi-phase flows. Schlumberger have funded an MR spectrometer and sponsored/seconded a researcher at the MRRC for over 10 years; a proposal to extend this research partnership is currently under review by SGR (contact available on request). The bubble size measurements reported (for high gas voidage) in this paper cannot be made using any other technique.
