Chemical Product Design
This second edition, double the length of the first, represents the culmination of a decade of research (e.g. DOI:10.1515/revce-2012-0002, DOI:10.1002/aic.10880, DOI:10.1205/026387600527022), focusing chemical engineering on higher value products. Submissions NO3/NO4 are examples of this approach in my research. Invited lectures at ECCE 2011 (Berlin) and the 2013 Sino-US Chemical Engineering Congress (Beijing) and a request to produce an e-learning course for the AIChE have followed. Almost 5000 copies of the two editions have sold. New material throughout: chapters 6-10 are entirely new, describing a division of product classes and novel approaches to their design. Contacts to verify impact on request.
